The base is located on the Makovza reservoir and includes a “hunting house”, a “fisherman’s house”, gazebos for relaxation, a guest house and a complex of hydraulic structures.

The Makovza reservoir is located 12 km northeast of Logoisk, near the village of Pogrebishche. It is built on the Makovza River, the basin of the Berezina River, which, with a length of just over 5 km, is one of the shortest in Belarus, also flows into a reservoir and an unnamed stream. The water in the river and stream is very clean and cold, which is conducive to the habitat of red-book trout fish.

The Makovza Reservoir is surrounded on all sides by a picturesque forest, which is famous for its abundance of mushrooms and berries. It is very popular among vacationers and fishermen; pike, perch, roach, bream and other types of fish live here, and there is a beach. The nearby forests are home to rare birds and wild animals that can be observed in natural conditions.

Fish ponds are located nearby. Paid fishing is organized for them, both for carp fish and predatory fish. For a comfortable stay, fishing bridges, canopies, gazebos and barbecues are provided.
