Description

An island of more than a hectare size from the highly sought-after Mussalo area of Kotka, where all kinds of structures have already been built and where summer water and electricity come in! You can reach the island in a couple of minutes from Varsanniemi boat dock (boat dock exists). Travel by water maybe 70m. On the other side of the island there is a larger pier for the largest boats, so you can even come from Helsinki by water to your own villa. At one time the local nobility inhabited the island during the summer and here, for example, there is a separate kitchen building, the dining rooms of which were always eaten at mealtimes. We slept in a nice log house. The service personnel slept in the granary building, which is still in use as well. The beach sauna is right on the beach and there is also summer water, which is heated by the water heater. A shower is installed in the sauna space. The buildings on the island are all in working order and, according to tradition, the log villa was built at the turn of the 20th century.
