A LITTLE HISTORY
This house on Ligoninės Street has a truly rich history.It was built back in 1816, and the first school in Klaipėda, also known as the Naujamiestis School, operated there. Until more educational institutions sprang up in the port city, only girls studied at the Naujamiestis School. At the beginning of the 20th century, a hotel was established in the building, later - a city construction office. After the Second World War, it became a residential building. Hospital Street, northern - western part of the city
Planned in the second half of the 18th century in the Krūmamiestis district, it was nameless for some time. This name has survived to this day.
