Offices: Types, Characteristics, Target Audience
An office is a space used for administrative or commercial purposes. In real estate, offices provide a place to conduct business, meet with clients, and perform day-to-day operations. Multi-story properties and complexes called office buildings are created specifically for offices. This does not mean that all the premises will be used only for offices, but most of them are designed specifically for them.
There are several main classes:
Class A
New or recently renovated buildings in business areas. Such buildings meet modern standards and often have accompanying infrastructure in the form of parking.
Target audience: large corporations, international companies.
Class B
Offices in buildings in good condition but inferior to Class A in location or quality of finish.
- Class B+: Almost the same level as Class A, but may be more economical.
- Class B-: basic offices without elite features.
Target audience: medium-sized businesses, startups.
Class C
Buildings built 20–30 years ago, without major repairs. Minimal amenities, basic heating and air conditioning systems.
Target audience: small companies with limited budgets.
Class D
Premises with a minimum level of amenities, often in need of repair.
