The house is located in the smallest and most picturesque town in Bulgaria called Melnik, in close proximity to the Melnik pyramids, on the way to the Rozhen Monastery.
The town of Melnik is located in the Blagoevgrad region, in the municipality of Sandanski and is an amazing combination of beautiful nature, rocks, houses on the hills, history, culture and wine. The town is declared a cultural and historical reserve and a museum town. It is located 20 km from the famous balneological town of Sandanski, 100 km from the winter resort of Bansko and 80 km from the regional center of Blagoevgrad.
Tourism and attractions in the area
6 km northeast of Melnik is the Rozhen Monastery, built in the 12th or 13th century. It is known primarily for its iconostasis with amazing wood carvings.
