The government plans to double the capacity of maritime and rail routes, as well as triple the capacity of airports. It is planned to attract around $7 billion for these projects.

To achieve these goals, the government has developed a 10-year roadmap. Another project will be the Batumi–Sarpi highway, which will connect the Batumi bypass road with the Turkish border and complete the western section of the East–West highway.

These projects are expected to impact investment patterns in Georgia, where foreign investors typically show high interest in the real estate market.
