Above is the kitchen-living room with a sleeping gallery and a wrap-around balcony from which you can enjoy the panoramic view over Lake Como.
The house is fully furnished.
'La Torre' is in Treccione, a car-free village of old and already restored stone houses 350 m above the lake.
The house can be reached on foot in 4 minutes from the parking lot.
Rustico ´La Torre´
The 200-year-old stone house (renovated in 2014) combines the charm of the original with what makes us comfortable today.
The 70sqm are spread over 3 floors - sleeping area with bathroom downstairs, living room in the middle, upstairs eat-in kitchen with a view and sleeping gallery.
It is 300m above Lake Como in Treccione, car-free and the view from the surrounding balcony goes south over the lake to Lecco and north to the Swiss mountains.
In the basement is the bedroom with a double bed. Next to it is the bathroom with a spacious 'rain' + hand shower, toilet and BD. The utility room with washer/dryer and household items is just off the stairs.
In the middle area, where the front door is, is the living room. Individually decorated with traditional furniture, antique carpet and a double sofa bed.
The eat-in kitchen with the old chestnut wood table is on the top floor. The brick kitchen has a 4-ring ceramic hob, oven, dishwasher, coffee maker, kettle and all the utensils you need to feed 6 people well.
Above the kitchen there is a sleeping gallery for 2 people.
From the all-round balcony you have a view of the lake. You will enjoy!
The parking spaces are located at the entrance to the village. The house cannot be approached directly. The walk to the house is about 3 minutes. In the vaulted cellar, which is accessible from the outside, there is a sack truck for transporting luggage. Bicycles, surfboards, etc. can also be stored there.
From Treccione you can set off on large and small hikes. Most of the neighboring villages (e.g. San Martino, Carcente) can be reached both by car and on footpaths. From Treccione you can start to San Amate, Rifugio Menaggio or find the entrance to the 'Sentiero Alto Lariano', just to name a few.
The bays of Rezzonico are ideal for swimming in the lake. Small streets through the village lead there. Rezzonico itself has a pizzeria (Platani) and a village shop, which is one of the last 'mom and pop shops' in the best sense of the word.
There is no public transport at the top of the mountain. From Rezzonico, the town on the lake, buses
run to the north and south of the lake according to the timetable. Menaggio (approx. 8 km away)
offers all types of shipping. (tour boats, speedboat and ferries to the west side of the lake)
