When purchasing a home, foreigners must pay a tax on its transfer into ownership. For leasehold zones it is 1.1% of the price of the property, for freehold zones - 2%. By mutual agreement, the buyer can pay the tax contribution equally with the seller. If an apartment is purchased in a building at the stage of construction or commissioning, an additional tax on major repairs is paid.
