Beautiful apartment house in 96052 Bamberg, Germany

The property is ideal for stable real estate investment in Bavaria.

Bamberg, like Rome, is located on seven hills. In ancient times, Bamberg, known from documents since 902, was called German Rome. The settlement grew under the shadow of Babenberch Castle, which gave the name of the East Frankish Babenberg dynasty. According to archaeologists, the first fortress on the Cathedral Hill should be dated to the VII century. At that time, the region was inhabited by Western Slavs.

In 997, the Holy Roman Emperor Henry II and his wife Kunigunda arrived in Babenberg. After 10 years, they decided to make Babenberg a hereditary possession, began construction of the cathedral and laid down several churches. At that time, Babenberg was subordinate to the Bishop of Würzburg. At the insistence of Henry II in May 1007, a treaty was signed on the organization of a special bishopric with the center in Babenberg: the king ceded to the bishop of Würzburg the margrafdom of Meiningen, Waldorf and the castle of Altechendorf, and the bishop signed in favor of the newly created bishopric of Regnitzgau (the district along the lower reaches of the Regnitz) and part of the Volkfeldhaus. In 1020, the imperial couple in Babenberg was visited by Pope Benedict VIII. Henry and Kunigunda, numbered by descendants as saints, rest in the Bamberg Cathedral founded by them.

In the middle of the thirteenth century, the bishop of Bamberg greatly expanded his possessions, annexing part of the disintegrated Merania. In addition to the lands in Franconia, the bishopric included territories on the Danube, including the borders of modern Austria (sold to the Habsburgs in 1759). During the years of the Reformation, the lands of the bishopric were halved.

With the collapse of the Holy Roman Empire in 1802, Bamberg became part of the Kingdom of Bavaria.

This is a well-kept facility, which is very well located in the city and accordingly has a good location!
