Fischbach is an air resort in the so-called Peter-Rossegger-Waldheimat and is approx. 76 km from Graz, 146 km from Vienna and 36 km from Pogusch (known ski resort with helicopter landing site). Fischbach is located at an altitude of 664 to 1498 m in the Fischbach Alps and has 1612 inhabitants. In Fischbach there is a two-leaf restaurant “Zum Forsthaus” which is established as an attraction for Viennese tourists.
