The holiday complex Midia Grand Resort in Aheloy was built in 2005. It offers access to a sandy beach, two large swimming pools, beautiful park areas, a wellness center, restaurants, a children's club, playgrounds, and an indoor, guarded parking lot.
The town of Aheloy is located in southeastern Bulgaria on the Great Burgas Bay and belongs to the municipality of Pomorie. The terrain is mostly flat, with a small hilly area northwest of the town known as Strolata (formerly Strelka Bayir). Aheloy has its own microclimate characterized by the flat landscape, the Balkan Mountains, and the Black Sea. Winters are mild and summers are cool, making the area an attractive holiday destination.
