The main functions of cadastre:

  • Registration of rights to real estate. Registration and approval of legal documents confirming ownership and use of real estate.
  • Cadastral registration. Creation and maintenance of a unified state real estate cadastre, including all real estate objects and their characteristics.
  • Monitoring compliance with real estate legislation. Verification of legal purity of transactions, compliance of documentation and technical conditions.
  • Providing information on real estate. Providing access to official data on real estate, including through electronic services.

Structure of cadastral information:

  • Cadastral number. Identifier of a real estate object assigned upon registration.
  • Boundaries and area. An exact description of the boundaries and dimensions of a land plot, determined during the surveying process.
  • Land category and permitted use. Information about the land category (e. g. agricultural, populated areas) and the permitted types of its use.
  • Cadastral value. The estimated value of an object used to calculate taxes and other payments.

There is a public cadastral map — this is an online service that provides publicly available information about land plots and real estate objects. The service allows you to quickly find an object of interest, get information about it and visually assess its location.
