Apartment is a residential property consisting of one or more zones, both residential and non-residential, and is an independent real estate object. An apartment is intended for the residence of citizens and can be of different sizes, layouts and conditions. Unlike houses, apartments often have common walls, ceilings and communications with neighboring premises, which requires regulation of interactions between owners and compliance with the rules of joint use.

Types of apartments:

  • Multi-room apartments. The most basic apartment is a one-room apartment, and its price tag is one of the lowest on the market. Such premises include one living room and one non-living room (kitchen), as well as a bathroom. As the number of living rooms increases, the total area and price increase. The most popular are one-, two- and three-room apartments, less often — four- and five-room apartments.
  • Studios. These are open-plan apartments where the kitchen, living room, and sleeping area are all in one space. This type of apartment is popular in large cities due to its low cost.
  • Penthouses. Apartments located on the top floors of high-rise buildings, often with terraces and panoramic views.
