The tenement house was designed by Henryk Stifelmann and Stanisław Weiss (according to Łoza; "Atlas" attributes the authorship to Antoni Jasieńczyk-Jabłoński). It was built in the last years of the 1872-1912 phase, during the main development of Nowogrodzka Street with tenement houses. The building was constructed on a plot formerly owned by the Hirszel Brothers, later acquired by Markus Szwarcmacher. The monogram "S" on several balcony grilles on the front elevation may indicate him as the owner.

The building has a compact shape, consisting of four high outbuildings arranged in a quadrangle. It has six floors, a basement, and a high broken gable roof over the front outbuilding and a lean-to over the side ones. The walls are made of solid brick, the facades are plastered and decorated with stucco. The front facade features two convex risalits, a bossaged ground floor, and a gate opening framed by two pilasters with puff figures on the capitals.

Thanks to the windows facing the courtyard, the apartment is very quiet, and the high floor provides plenty of natural light.

There is a possibility to use the services of contractors cooperating with our office, who can complete the entire project of finishing the apartment to a turn-key standard. The tenement house has undergone revitalization and is in good condition.
