Stoliv is a picturesque village in the Bay of Kotor, at the foot of the Vrmac mountain range, located opposite the ancient town of Perast. The village got its name from the confluence of the words "one hundred olives", because according to an ancient tradition, when a young man wooed a girl, he had to plant a hundred olive trees. Due to this, the village is surrounded by olive groves. In the upper part of the village, at an altitude of 240m, there are two magnificent churches -St. Ilya (16V.) and St. Anna (12-13V.), surrounded by a pomegranate grove. From the lower part of the village to the top is an old stone road that runs through a chestnut grove, along the road you will see a lot of cyclamen who have chosen this region.  In the lower (coastal) part are the Church of St. Mary and St. Mary's Church Basil with unique frescoes of the late 15th century. Here in abundance grow beautiful Camellia bushes, according to legend, brought here in the 18th century by one of the sailors for his wife, there is also an annual festival of Camellia with an exhibition of flowers, art gallery and a mandatory choice of Queen Camellia. On the mountain slopes of Stoliv grows a lot of herbs and flowers that saturate the sea air with nutrients, making it even more useful.
