In which countries did Russian users most often search for real estate in 2024? REALTING summed up the results.

According to REALTING, about 66% of all requests on the platform from users from Russia were for 14 countries. Most often, Russians looked at real estate in Belarus — 12.6% of all requests (every eighth request was aimed at finding real estate in this country). 

After Belarus, the most popular countries where Russians searched for real estate were Poland (9.3%), Montenegro (7.9%), and Lithuania (6.1%). Turkey and the Czech Republic round out the top with 2.2% and 2.0% of requests, respectively.

It is worth mentioning such countries as Indonesia, Spain, and Hungary separately; despite the fact that these countries did not make it to the top, they are still quite popular countries among Russians for possible real estate purchases. Each of these countries accounted for 1.9% of all requests on the platform.

If we talk about what kind of real estate was most often searched for by users from Russia on the REALTING platform in 2024, it will be apartments; they accounted for 52% of all requests. The next most popular type of real estate after apartments were houses (29%), then villas and mansions — 14% of all requests from Russians.

  • Belarus has become the absolute leader, attracting 12.6% of all queries. Next come Poland (9.3%) and Montenegro (7.9%). 66% of all queries are concentrated in just 14 countries
  • Apartments remain the most popular (52% of queries). Houses are in second place (29%). Villas and mansions make up 14% of search queries.
