The climate of northern Finland is by no means hot: the average temperature in Helsinki in July is about 17.2°C, and the capital, as we know, is located in the south of the country. There is also an unheated warehouse on the plot (a garage with a total area of 40 sq. m.). Despite the fact that the site is located almost in the forest, in a very picturesque place, the city center is only one kilometer away.

The house is surrounded by a bright and cozy courtyard with its own garden bordering the forest. The plot’s total area is 990 square meters.

The house was built out of wood and brick in 1982. The heating is firewood-based (wood-fired boiler + air heating (ValloxKotilämpö). The interior is made entirely of wood, and it has all the necessary furniture and appliances. The house has its own sauna with a wood-burning stove lined with red bricks. There is an electric stove in the kitchen, but if you want to cook, you can eat directly on the fire. The house uses urban water supply.

The seller honestly points out that the cottage may require major repairs. The main reason for this are its copper pipes of hot water supply. They have never been replaced, and therefore their technical service life is not so long, and it has expired. The windows were replaced in 2005. A sauna and WC renovation was carried out in 2011. A replacement of the entrance door took place in 2013, and the air heater was replaced in 2017. 

As for the infrastructure, you can walk to the store (about 700 meters), and the local school (800 meters).
