In Bulgaria, more and more people are moving to live in the countryside. Because of this trend, the demand for country houses in this region is also increasing.

In 2021 there are already 108 thousand more inhabitants in Bulgarian villages, and this year, according to the forecast of the Association of Bulgarian villages, another 90 thousand people will move to the villages. The main reason for such active relocation is the desire of people to work remotely and at the same time to live near nature. This is especially actual among IT specialists, salespeople, and owners of online stores.

Almost 70% of those who move to Bulgarian villages come from big cities. And in demand among them are both neighborhoods near metropolitan areas, and more remote areas. It all depends on the financial capacities of buyers — the farther from the capital, the cheaper it is. As a rule, buyers are inclined towards houses with a large yard of half a hectare or more.

In addition to buying homes in villages for permanent residence, other options are popular: buying a vacation home to spend time on the weekends, as well as buying a property for long-term rental (but there are virtually no such offers on the market). And some people prefer to simply buy a plot of land and build a new house on it, based on their needs and preferences.
