Still a secret tip in Istria is the town of Bale, a true gem of a medieval town center that resembles an old fortress, not far from Rovinj. In the centre of the old town, near the Palazzo Bembo and right at the "Kamene Priče":
This is an old stone house along the alleys – with a base area of 50m2. Inside it is completely empty, there are still stones and some other relics can be found from the collapse of the house – there are only the outer walls and part of the roof. The house is also only accessible on foot via the paved alleys of the old town, so there is no parking directly next to it.
