2-room apartment on the 2nd floor with all utilities in a building in the style of wooden constructivism in an absolutely unique complex of wooden buildings by European standards in the center of the city of Grodno on Chkalova Street (Kolozhsky Park area). A little from the history of the construction of residential buildings in the 30s of the last century, namely in September 1932, two Polish pilots — Stanislav Vigura and Frantisek Žvirko died as a result of a plane crash; in just a month they won the prestigious international aviation competition. And not far away, under the slide, there are several beautiful wooden houses for teachers, with a large number of bright rooms, sunny verandas, and carved entrances. Each of them was intended for one family. Today we know the names of some of the inhabitants of the Teacher's Colony. Thus, in house №8 on Zhvirke Street lived the family of Pyotr Bogutsky, director of the school named after Stefan Batory, in houses 9 and 11 — of the family of teachers Vishnevsky and Vilantovich. Their neighbors were the Polish language teacher Mrs. Krajewska, the strict mathematician Bronowski, the music teacher Budrevitch, and Mr. Wiewurski, the school director, who is remembered as an amazing, kind person, also lived not far from the School. The war changed the fortunes of this quarter forever. The streets were renamed in honor of Soviet pilots Valery Chkalov and Polina Osipenko. The use of wood to build constructivist-style houses is very rare. The presence of a whole complex of such buildings — is generally an isolated case, which gives the entire development of these streets architectural value.
