2 room apartment 55 m² Warsaw, Poland

The apartment has a living room, bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, guest toilet and hall. The house was designed by architects Henryk Stiefelmann and Stanislaw Weiss, as well as Antoni Jasenczyk-Jablonski, according to various sources.

Construction of the house was completed between 1872 and 1912 on a plot of land previously owned by the Hirscheli brothers and purchased by Markus Schwarzmacher. On the facade of the building you can see the monogram “S”, which may indicate that it belonged to Schwarzmacher.

The building has a compact shape and consists of four high extensions arranged in a quadrangle. The house is six storeys high, with a high sloping roof at the front and a pitched roof over the side extensions. The walls of the house are made of solid brick, the facades are plastered and decorated with stucco.

The facade of the house has two convex outbuildings, the first floor is rusticated, with a gateway framed with tiles with puffed figures. The basement has ceramic barrel vaults, and the gateway has a barrel-shaped vault. The staircases in the entrances are two-flight, brick on steel beams, with iron handrails and white marble window sills.

Thanks to the windows facing the courtyard, the apartment is very quiet, and the high floor provides plenty of daylight.

The house has been renovated and is in good condition.
