BUILDING
Constructed in 1960, this building is one of the last works of pre-war masonry masters in Warsaw. The design is inspired by tenement houses from the 1930s, which can be found in this area. You enter the neat staircase through a gate with an original grille and chip-operated doors. The building has no elevator, which positively affects physical fitness and well-being. The tenement is maintained in subdued colors and, knowing the value of its proportions, does not impose itself on its surroundings. APARTMENT
The studio has a simple and clear layout. Facing south, it is bright and optimistic thanks to large windows. The separated kitchen with a dining area, ergonomically designed bathroom, and a large wardrobe with a mirror in the hallway are additional advantages of this apartment. For those who appreciate beauty, there are also nice pieces of furniture that do not overwhelm the space. The architect who recently visited the apartment was impressed – he had nothing to criticize. I didn’t have the chance to talk to the artists who rented this apartment for many years, as they are famous and inaccessible.
COMMUNICATION
From a planning and urbanistic perspective, the apartment is located in a strategically important communication point of the city. One can confidently say that even if there were three times fewer public transport options in the area, it would still be too much.
