Let's give in good hands a strong log house in the agro-town of Pogost.

The house is located in the Berezinsky district (Minsk region, Pogost, 25 School str.). From the Moscow Ring Road on an excellent highway turns out exactly 105 km - by car it is a little more than an hour drive. Very close to the district center of Berezino (10 km), so all the urban infrastructure is nearby. The house was built in 1954, but for his condition is absolutely not ashamed and here is why:

Real smolak log and major repairs
The house is cut from selected resinous pine (people call it “smolyak”). The logs did not rot from time to time, but on the contrary - they were soaked in resin through and literally petrified. They ring when you knock. There's no bug, bug or mould in here.

In 1999, the "renovation" of the house was made.

• He picked it up and poured a completely new, butterfly foundation. The house is perfectly flat.
• Then completely replaced the lower crowns with new strong logs.
• Completely over the top: put a new truss system and blocked the roof. Nothing flows, the attic is absolutely dry, the house smells of clean wood.

Inside the house: space and strong floors

• High ceilings - 2.70 meters! For old wooden houses, this is a rarity. There is a lot of light in the rooms, it breathes easily, there is no feeling of a “pressing” ceiling.
• Capital boardwalk. Completely whole, sturdy boards, absolutely not rotten. The floor does not bend, does not “walk” under the feet and does not creak.
• Freedom to redesign. The interior partitions between the rooms are light. If you want to remodel the interior in a modern way (for example, make a spacious kitchen-living room or studio), they can be very easily and quickly dismantled.

About heating (honestly, without hidden nuances)
The house has a classic oven, but it has not been used for several years. Before sinking, it must be cleaned and slightly reconstructed.

Nature and fishing right next door
It's a great place. Directly through our agro-town flows clean river Kleva (tributary of Berezina) - for fishermen here is just paradise. Around the village there are huge coniferous forests, so you do not have to go far for mushrooms and berries.

A living farm town, not a dying farm
Pogost is a central estate, there is absolutely everything for a normal life. Literally on our street School (a couple of minutes walk) there is a good grocery store. In walking distance, a secondary school, a kindergarten, a post office and even its own district hospital with an outpatient clinic (takes a general practitioner, there is a pharmacy). A big plus - in winter the roads are always cleaned to the house, the entrance is ideal all year round.

How to get from Minsk without a car?
The transport links are excellent. Direct buses and minibuses to Minsk regularly go through Pogost (they come to the Mogilevskaya station, on the way for about an hour). Also in 15 minutes you can take a suburban bus to Berezino, and from there minibuses to Minsk depart every hour.
