KK-1158. Vineyards, winery in Certaldo - province of Florence - Tuscany
Estate, winery a few kilometers from the historical center of Chertaldo.
The estate includes a historic residence of 900 square meters.
Built in the nineteenth century, 270 square meters of villa located on three floors, a building of 150 square meters, located next to the road, a building of 80 square meters, which can be converted into a residential one.
Olive oil production
The land covers an area of more than 40 hectares and is divided between vineyards (17.1 hectares), olive groves (5.8 hectares), fences (7.6 hectares), arable land (2 hectares) and uncultivated agricultural land (7.5 hectares). The olive grove (1,500 plants) produces up to 3,000 kg of extra virgin olive oil each year, which means annual production of 3,000 to 4,000 bottles.
Production of wine
Vineyards, Sangiovese bushes, Cabernet Sauvignon, Trebbiano and Malvasia, and 13.7 hectares are registered as Chianti DOCG (the remaining 3.3 hectares are simple IGTs). A total of 3,333 to 4,270 bushes per hectare with planting density of 2.80 x 0.90 m and 3.00 x 1.00 m. Annual production ranges from 130,000 to 140,000 bottles of wine.
