Cottage Village: Types, Classification and Features
A cottage village is an organized residential community consisting of private houses (cottages) united by a common infrastructure. Such villages are usually located outside the city or in the suburbs.
Classification of cottage villages:
By class:
- Economy class. Involves minimal amenities and basic infrastructure, but at affordable prices.
- Business class. In such villages, the infrastructure is better developed, and there is more space between houses.
- Elite class. The elite class often includes closed guarded areas, unique architecture and houses made of premium materials.
By location:
- Suburban, located near the city and with good transport accessibility.
- Countryside, located at a considerable distance from the city; often surrounded by nature.
