The island covers 100 hectares of virgin beauty, located in the Gulf of Panama, just south of Panama City, in the Pacific Ocean. The island has numerous white sand beaches, clear and warm waters, and is part of the historic chain of the Pearl Islands. It is possible to fish tuna and pargo from any of its many points. The island is one of the few islands with a single owner and a clean and untaxed property title. The property of the island belongs to a Panamanian corporation. The buyer may acquire the island independently or acquire the corporation without charge.
There are 11 beaches; two of them are more than 200 meters long. The highest point of the island is about 100 meters away, making it the perfect location for a villa and looking at the surrounding islands and beyond. The island is intact and zoned for multiple uses. The views of the island are impressive, surrounded by crystal-clear waters of aquamarine blue, and it has the luxury of having a natural port of quiet waters; it is imperative to see it to believe it. Perfect for sports fishing, retreats, private housing, tourist complexes or as a place to invest. The island is only 2 kilometres from the large island of King Island and just south of Panama City (note: King Island is larger than Aruba). Travelling to the island is easy thanks to daily ferry service and commercial flights to the neighbouring islands. Many of the surrounding islands are either developed or under development.
DULCE WATER
The island has several seasonal streams and peaceful and safe beaches. A hydrologist has explored the island to determine the possibility of well water. The subsoil was determined to be conducive to fresh water. The current owner decided not to drill in search of water, as desalination units are easier and cost-effective to supply any need for development. Most small islands use desalination units (a unit that produces 1000 gallons a day costs about $10,000).
ENERGY
Solar, wind and diesel generators can be implemented and are widely used to supply electricity to most islands.
