Founded in 2019 by Claire Ponirou, Alba Residences is a real estate company based in Athens, Greece. With a passion for transforming properties, Claire leveraged her extensive experience in the industry, beginning in London between 1995 and 1998, where she specialized in purchasing and renovating homes. After managing a real estate agency aimed mainly at Greek students, she expanded her focus to Athens in the late '90s, operating a successful real estate business until 2000.
In 2019, Claire launched Alba Residences by renovating a flat in Glyfada, marking the start of her investment strategy in Athens. Over time, she acquired and fully renovated numerous properties, specializing in short-term rentals through platforms like Airbnb and Booking.com. Alba Residences is also known for transforming properties through high-quality renovations. After demonstrating a strong return on investment (ROI) to investors, Claire sells the renovated properties, capitalizing on their increased value.
Today, in addition to her own investments, Claire offers renovation services to clients and is developing a comprehensive package for property owners interested in renting their flats on Airbnb.
