Description

Everyone is now looking for a property just close enough to everything but with the opportunity to isolate themselves from others. These two cute homes are located in the cute town of Venado which is just on the south side of the Junquillal estuary. Venado is an authentic Costa Rican town just about an hour to the Liberia airport, thirty-five minutes to Tamarindo and the same to the county seat of Santa Cruz. Venado has, so far, escaped the urban sprawl an large scale development of the aforementioned areas and, as a consequence, truly offers a quiet lifestyle here at the beach. The homes and the 25 acres are just about a 1/2 mile to the beaches of Venado and Lagarto...as the crow flies. In five minutes you can be at either one. The new home is a simple but elegant mother-in-law home that is just over a block to the main home. This simple home is light bright and airy. It is fully furnished, has two beds and one bath and mini-split air condition unit for the entire space. A small plunge pool is under construction. The main home is the older one built in the late 90's by one of the developers of the mother tract these 25 acres are located on. It is one of the only homes we have seen with a real two car garage and extra space inside to have a work area. Laundry facilities are located here. The home has two stories. On the other side of the garage, through a hall, is a brand new one bedroom and one bath efficiency apartment which helps pay the annual carrying costs of the property. The second floor is another one bedroom and one bath apartment that is spacious with an enormous terrace. This terrace offers lovely mountain views to the east, views. over the entire Junquillal estuary to the north (the is majestically set on a hill top just over the primary growth trees below), and lovely ocean views for watching the sunset. One of our favorite features of this home and the terrace is an old growth tropical olive tree that overhangs the terrace. The local Howler Monkey's can't get enough of the fruit, flowers, and leaves of this tree. They literally feed within feet of you. The home has all utilities including it's own private deep water well. Internet comes from a local cel tower and a hotspot modem. there is plenty of connection for Netflix, youtube, and zoom conferencing. The property is two large parcels. Each one is off the public road but has secondary public road frontage. As a consequence, there are no limits for development and segregation of properties here other than large scale manufacturing.
