Both emirates have been included among the markets that have made the biggest improvements in real estate transparency over the past two years, according to JLL’s 2026 Global Real Estate Transparency Index (GRETI).

Since 2024, Dubai has climbed from 28th to 17th place, while the UAE capital has moved up from 41st to 33rd. Dubai also ranked ahead of Switzerland, Poland, Denmark, and Norway.

Experts attribute the trend to the growing digitalization of government services, progressive regulations, and broader access to transaction data.
