DestinationAmfiklea It is 160 km far from the city of Athens, 50 km from Levadeia, 50 km from Lamia and 17 km from the ski center of Parnassus. You can get here by car, from the highway Athens-Thessaloniki, towards Livadeia or by train getting the railway Athens-Thessaloniki. You can taste here delicious traditional Greek cuisine, homemade cheese maskouri, different kinds of grilled meat andflavourful barrel wine. Two national parks are located at a very short distance Parnassus and Iti. On the road to Fterolaka, lies a picturesque plateau in the heart of Parnassus, called Perikovrisi. It is a magical place with pines, firs and a source of water. Nearby, you can enjoy the view of the old church of Saint John the Hunter which stands out for the rare and of particular interest murals. To the east, you will meet the unique landscape of nature. Crossing steep Varsamo's gorge, there is a path to reach the famous church of Argiarsali, which is built in an elevated cave in the heart of a steep rock.
