The hotel is located in the north-western part of Slovenia, in the center of the town of Bovec, which is only 2 hours from Ljubljana and 30 minutes from Tarvisio (on the route Venice - Salzburg).

Bovec is located at the foot of Kanina, the only ski centre in Slovenia, which, with additional development, can be linked to neighboring Italian Sella Nevea.

In addition to winter holidays, the resort offers many opportunities for summer holidays (hiking, rafting, golf..). In addition to the infrastructure around the lift (system itself, control system, restaurant and two ski slopes), the complex offers a three-star hotel (Alps Hotel), which will allow to develop tourism in this region in a comprehensive way.

Object Description

The Alps Hotel Bovec was built in 1963 and completely renovated in 1990. The facility was built for commercial purposes - a hotel. The building consists of 5 floors + basement. Wood and window frames are made of wood. Double glazing units stand on the windows.
The hotel includes 2 suites, 82 double rooms, 12 triple rooms and 9 single rooms. Wing A represents the central part of the building (basement + 5 floors), Wing B is connected to the central part of 1 + 4 floors. The total area of the facility is 4551 sq.m.
The object has several separate inputs. The central part forms an inner courtyard with access to the recipe. The ground floor is for various activities, the restaurant is below.
The hotel itself consists of 5 floors. Floors in rooms lined with tiles, in other premises floors lined with natural stone and ceramics. The walls and ceiling are painted. Bathrooms and sun knots are finished with ceramics, bathrooms are equipped with shower cabins and sinks..
The facility is connected to urban water supply, electricity, sewage, gas, and has a telephone connection and satellite television. The facility has central heating which is controlled by a central boiler. The rooms themselves have a climate control system. The building has an elevator.
Infrastructure

The ski lift is a key element of Kanin's infrastructure, allowing guests to reach the top of the ski descent. In order to revive ski recreation in the area, it is necessary to replace 600 meters of lifting cable in section A-B and to equip the lift with a safety system.

• Repair of support structures from Station A to Station B (from the foot of the slope to its top)
• Strengthening the foundation of the columns of the section from A to Station B
• Wind test of lift cabins
• Strengthening one of the steel lines in section B-C
