Vilamoura is a resort in the Algarve, a region in southern Portugal. It is known for its large marina, golf courses, casino, and the sandy beach of Vilamoura. The Cerro the Vila Archaeological Museum has the ruins of a Roman villa with bathhouses and mosaics. Praia da Falésia beach is lined with red cliffs and stretches west to the fishing village of Olhos de Água.
