The resort will be designed for both one-day visits and multi-day stays. In particular, in the evenings guests will be waiting for ultra-modern laser and light shows.
Wynn Al Marjan Island Resort will be the first hotel in the UAE with a casino and, according to experts, will change the rules of the game in the tourist market of Ras Al-Khaimah.
The targets of the tourist flow, previously designated by the local tourism development department, are 3 million tourists. Thanks to the opening of the new resort, the Emirate will not only receive more tourists, but can also expect a general recovery of the economy.
The largest increase in tourist traffic is expected in the year of opening of the resort. In 2027, Ras Al-Khaimah can visit 3.8 million tourists. Thus, the average annual growth rate will be 28% compared to 2022. Do not forget that the resort will help create a large number of new jobs.
The Emirate of Ras Al-Khaimah is currently updating the legislative framework and writing gambling laws, taking as a model the rules in force in Singapore and the United States.
The Office for the Development of Tourism of Ras-Al-Khaimah has established a new department to regulate the activities of «game institutions, which will deal with licensing, taxation, operations and consumer protection.
