A magnificent building in the most beautiful place of the capital of Sicily, Palermo, with an area of 15,000 square meters.
Palazzo Costantino is located in the northeast corner of Quattro Canti. The palace was built by Giuseppe Merendino in the second half of the eighteenth century on the site of a former seventeenth-century building. Following the purchase of the palace by the Marquis Giuseppe Costantino, the building underwent a major renovation designed by the Venetian architect Venanzio Marvuglia in a style combining traditional eighteenth-century elements with neoclassical features.
The main rooms of the palace were decorated with stucco, frescoes by Gioachino Martorana, precious furniture in the style of Luigi XV and Luigi XVI in carved and gilded wood, and majolica floors from the 18th century, such as the depiction of La Nacita di Venere.
