Where to buy an apartment in Kharkiv

Real estate prices depend heavily on the district. The most popular ones are:

Alekseyevka — an outer-lying residential district, which is under construction at the moment — has completely developed transport interchange and social infrastructure. 

Kholodnohirskyi district is in the old area of the city. There are many centuries-old buildings, a private sector, modern residential complexes, Tsentralny Rynok (market), many office buildings, enterprises, schools, and hospitals. 

Price of apartments in Kharkiv 

The average price for 1 sq m of housing is $710. The lowest price threshold is $490, the upper one is $1000 per 1 sq m. 

One-room apartments in the center of Kharkiv cost $38,000-40,000; the price on the outskirts starts from $17,000; two-room apartments — about $45,000 in the center; $25,000-35,000 in residential areas; three-room apartments — $50,000-60,000 in the center, and around $40,000 in residential areas. 

Conditions for foreign citizens who buy housing in Ukraine 

The sale of apartments in Kharkiv is possible only if the foreign buyer is over the age of 18. It is required to provide the passport of your country of origin or a residence permit in Ukraine. The process of getting a residence permit or citizenship is quite simple. 

The conditions are approximately the same as in other countries. A foreigner with a residence permit is equal in rights to a Ukrainian, which means that they can take out loans, including the loan for the purchase of real estate.
