The site is in Mayori! It is the central part of Jurmala, lying 24 km from Riga. It is originally the territory of the village of Vilden, bought by von Firks as a mayorate (17th century) and until World War I remained in the possession of von Firks. As interest in Jurmala as a place of rest grew, the lands of Mayorata Firks were divided into plots for the construction of dach quite early.
